About the Project & Author
This site is a dedicated digital archive established to visit and document Shinto shrines across Japan—regardless of their size, rank, or fame—to preserve their current form for future generations.

I personally believe that focusing only on well-known landmarks or the availability of "goshuin" (shrine stamps) results in repetitive and uninspired information. My mission is to record the reality of our wonderful Shinto culture, especially those shrines facing modern challenges like rural depopulation and financial strain. To contribute to the field of folklore studies, I prioritize visiting small, nameless shrines that might otherwise be forgotten by history.

Background & Activities
A graduate of the Department of Educational Psychology, Faculty of Education, Kyoto University, I lead a multifaceted professional life. Currently, I serve as a high school mathematics teacher while also conducting legal research into Web3.0 frameworks and exploring 3D digital preservation methods for cultural heritage.

Through this project, I aim to bridge tradition and technology, ensuring that even the humblest local sanctuary is remembered.
